the concept for the new bar and dining experience at three blue ducks roseberry was to design a new architectural form that creates definition in the space whilst responding to the existing industrial setting of the restaurant.

 

the use of new angular forms to the front of bar, led lighting and new display shelves define the new bar and dining area. the material concept has been derived from and speaks to its existing industrial context by using materials such as concrete compressed fibre cement panels, warm spotted gum timber bar tops and joinery and reinforcement steel mesh to the new bar fronts.

 

this contrast of the new architectural form for the bar and use of existing materials from the space creates a new bar that stands on its own but is very much part of the existing fabric.
